Musical performances and a symposium
Participants
John Heiss was the Artistic Director. The NEC Chorus, NEC Wind Ensemble, NEC Symphony and the New England Ragtime Ensemble performed. The symposium speakers were H. Wiley Hitchcock, Michael Colgrass, Richard Dyer and Gunther Schuller. Schuller also conducted the NEC Symphony and Chorus concert on March 12, 1987.
